| Anna Paquin is a New Zealand-Canadian film theater and television actor who has been featured in films like The PianoFly Homeaway and X-Men.She entered the film industry as a child performer as a child artist in The Pianofor which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in supporting role at the age of 11. She had not planned to be an actor, but destiny chose to change her mind. After her successful debut in the industry, she was contacted by a variety of companies, but she declined them to continue her education. After her debut film was a success, at age 14, she was offered roles in Jane Eyre and the series Fly Away Homefilm. The year 2000 saw her play the powerful mutant Roguein the X-Men X-Men film series. The role she took on catapulted to international fame.
